Since its inception in March of 2003, the Chilean program 31 Minutos has been the subject of much fascination and controversy. Though supposedly a children's program, it's 10 P.M. time slot, sarcastically adult undertone, subtle political references, and hip styling won a significant adult fan base. After its syndication, thanks to the Nickelodeon network airing the show throughout Latin America, 31 Minutos fan base includes people of all ages and nationalities.

The movie is about the kidnapping of Juanin, one of 31 Minutos's characters, and the adventures of his collegues to rescue him.

Takes a while to get into, as the jokes seem very foreign and unsubtle, but once you do, it's great.
